The Foundation

Julio Muñoz Ramonet (Barcelona, 1916 – Ciora, 1991) left the property at 282 Muntaner Street, including the garden and the entire contents of his extensive and valuable art collection, to a foundation that would bear his name. Its purpose would be the conservation and maintenance of its facilities, as well as its public use, with the aim of promoting, disseminating, and defending culture, under the protection of the Patronage of the Ciutat de Barcelona.
